Description

This module is offered to all Aerospace Engineering courses in the third year, and provides a comprehensive knowledge about all elements of conceptual aircraft design. Some topics are: conceptual design and sizing, preliminary design, wing design, propulsion system selection, high-lift devices, winglets, tail design, fuselage design, performance and Aeroelasticity. The aim of this module is to provide students with a solid knowledge of the procedure for designing an aircraft.
